"Oh girl, you stand by me"

We've had a couple of days of break and now it's Canada tomorrow. I'm anxious to get back to the west coast and my family... Liz... being on the road is just as hard now as it was 20 years ago, you never get used to it.

Anyway though, everyone continues to whine about our decisions and our set lists and our record labels... never changes. I wish we didn't have to hold everyone's hand like we do but it has to be done. I keep asking myself if this tour was such a good idea. I mean, are we going to regret alienating all these people by playing Of A Lifetime at every show? Are we going to lose some of those fans next tour? If there IS a next tour... so far away I can't even try to think about it. I shouldn't really care a lot about making everyone happy because they never will be, but I can't help it. I just hope for the best. Maybe we really should take next year off or visit Europe just in case the US fans need to cool off.

Other than that...Stevie's working his butt off with his vocal coach lately. Deen can't sing with his throat sore so he has to step in for extra time. Neal is ranting about critics and what we should do for the US release and Ross is.... who knows, probably out goofing off. But we will get through this because we always do. Journey is not named Journey for no reason!
